watever

my brain just won't work today.

so i decided to do "field work". after a remark from my assistant of my tanned skin, i knew tht i wouldn't sit at my table and dig through paperworks today. So, i chose to burn some fat (which i have lots at the moment) helping my staff to rearrange the display around the shop.

To my judgement, it wasn't the best day i had at work, i've got the post-holiday syndrom which turn off my working mode. i did not function well in the office and turn out to be the same when i reached home from work..

My hubby picked me up and we went straight back home. i have no mood to cook and i decided to prepare us the ready-to-fry frozen chicken (an instant dinner, i call it). so ignoring my vow to eat healthy dinner, i end up eating fried chicken and chocolate for desert.(u might think i'm the worst wife a guy would ever have rite now)

So i guess, that's all for a one-day wasted period of my life. i gain nothing but a day older and fatter, but above all, i would like to thank God for a day like today, where i live a loose life and carefree, i need this once in a blue moon =)

holiday

last weekend, my husband & i drove back to my hometown. well actually, this trip wasn't something we planned. i might not be able to go home for christmas, so i took the chance to visit my grandma from both side of my parents.

my husband never been to my father's village, so this trip was his introduction to where my dad spent his childhood(i'm not familiar either since my family live at my mom's village since my parents got married). But the most important part of it was, seeing my grandma, i hadn't met her since my engagement day. She live by herself now since my eldest aunt moved out to their new home(my grandpa passed away in an accident when i was still a toddler). i feel sad for her, she too old now to look after herself, anyway my other aunty live next door and checking on her everyday (Thank God!).

As ever, spending time at grandma's wouldn't be perfect without fresh coconut drink. Since nobody can climb the coconut tree, my husband did the honor plucking them using a very tall bamboo with a hook at the end (haha! he have no idea how to do it, but he handle it well, luv you darling!).

well, it was the highlite of our short holiday. part from it, we spent some time fishing (oldskool style haha!) and we have to satisfied with one small fish we caught. i had a very great time with my family (kakak, adek, abang(daddy ken), ken, awin, nana, my husband, mak, apak, makyang & pakyang)and aunts.
