last weekend trip was amazing!
The adventure began at the junction of miri-bintulu road toward off road sungai arang heading to marudi. muahhahahhahahha...i don't know what i was thinking at that time, grab my guts and just do it! denny check for assurance with a long look right in my face, i was full with spirit, excitement and doubts at the same time. go for it girl..i said to myself in my heart. so the journey started...
everything went smooth and we manage to reach marudi safe and sound. actually, when first my car hit off road, rubbles, dirts, bump, mud was all the way long, up and down the hills and slope, my mind was actually hurt thinking that it might damage the car. then when that passed, i was so relieved and after checking everything is in good condition.
But it was only half the journey, we need to return back to bintulu using the same road. it was 11am, the weather was fine, we prayed before we started the trip returning back. after crossing 2 river by ferry, the real battle started, but it was still okay until we reach 2/3 of the road, before we could pull on second thought, we drive thru a wet, muddy and sliperry road. just seconds after that, it was totally out of control. ryan was on the wheel, stepping on the brake trying hard to control it, front tyres sink into the mud. denny went out of the car, trying to push us back on the track, but little by little we are actually slipping to the side of the road and we could actually crashed againts the rocky hills beside us or hit another stucked 4WD in front of us.
The tense was getting higher, and ryan began to panic, my heart was beating so fast, in the middle of the chaos, i could not stop praying in my heart, ryan gripping the wheel and brake and gear, while denny was outside trying and pushing the car to get on track, then my prayers was heard, one guy came helping us out, his car was still at the top of the hill and he went down to survey the road. With his and Denny's help, ryan managed to get on track and drive us down the hill out of the mud. and just like that, everything was back to normal. ryan and denny went to help others who still stucked. after exchanging thanks and handshake, we were ready to continue the journey, before we leave an elder guy note "boleh tahan myvi ni..baguslah.." at this, i felt proud of the car and can't help smiling.
For me that was quite an experience, i will never forget tht. i thank God for He is always there to protect us along the way, and brought us home safely. well, no doubt i will do it again in future :)
